Release: Apr 19, 2014 - Author: Buster - Translator: Tony Montana - external link: IMDB
After an assignment in Hongkong that didn't go well because the brother of the wanted criminal Heinrich (Til Schweiger) lost his life in the process, FBI agents FDR Foster (Chris Pine) and Tuck (Tom Hardy) are on office duty. They both meet the enchanting lauren Scott (Reese Witherspoon) independently of each other.
When they figure out they are in love with the same woman, they decide to make it a competition and the better one may win. Needless to say that they don't always stick to the rules of fairness.
While Tuck has a dinner date with Lauren, FDR finds out Heinrich has already come to the US to take revenge on them for his brother's death...

In order to get the more lucrative PG-13 for its theatrical release, some "sleazy" scenes needed to be removed. The PG-13 Version is also the version that has been released on DVD in several countries.

Compared are the US Theatrical Version (PG-13) and the German Theatrical Version (represented by a broadcast on German Free TV on 03.14.2014).

US Theatrical Version: 87:42 min PAL without end credits
German Theatrical Version: 87:53 min PAL without end credits

Trish explains she was ready to do it doggystyle in order to keep it from becoming awkward. She adds they wouldn't notice anyway.

Extended Scene German Theatrical Version:
Tuck intends to watch the suveillance tapes from the night before. It was the night FRD had sex with Lauren. Agent Boyles is obviously nervous but he hands the CD with the recording to Tuck upon his request. Tuck asks Boyles if he had watched it already and what exactly had happened that night. Agent Boyles avoids to answer and stutters nervously instead. A scene with Boyles gestures with his fist and index finger to illustrate past events.
