Compared are the cut UK DVD by Vipco (BBFC 18) and the uncut Italian DVD by NoShame.
1 cut = 11 seconds
At first glance, Natura Contro appears to be another cannibal flick that contains exlicit guttingand feasting scenes. The alternate title "Cannibal Holocaust 2" intentionally points in that direction as well. And yet, this is anything but a brutal cannibal flick. Instead, this is a rather non-violent adventure flick without any blood, guts or flesh-eating natives. The fact of the matter is that an expedition team is searching for some lost professor in the Amazon. At some point, they run into a friendly tribe of Indians being terrorized by a group of huntsmen because those want to get their hands on the natives' valuable treasure by hook or by crook. The movie is rather solid actually, one just should not expect another Cannibal Holocaust because contentwise, they have nothing in common at all.
In the UK, both the VHS and DVD releases are cut - even though there is only one small missing scene in which a monkey gets tranquillized with an arrow. And to make it worse, the movie was released as Cannibal Holocaust 2. As mentioned before, neither is this an official sequel of Ruggero Deadato classic nor are there any cannibals in it. The title was chosen for marketing reasons only. The only uncut release is the Italian DVD by the way but the DVD contains the English audio track as well!
An Indian shoots a tranq arrow at the monkey lying on a brench (circled red on the screenshots). After getting hit, the monkey jumps up and squeals.
Weird though that this is the only missing scene because there are serval further shots of the natives shooting tranq arrows at several monkeys and those scenes are more graphic than this one.
