This is a comparison between the TV Version and the Extended Version.
9 differences, 4 of them with alternate footage and 1 with additional footage that is only shown in the TV Version
Difference: 93.4 sec (= 1:33 min)
The Blu-ray release only contains the TV versions of the episodes, as was the case with the first season. Those who know the DVD releases from the USA or Great Britain will surely miss the extended versions which can be found on these DVDs.
Episode 2x16 (The One Where Joey Moves Out) includes a little over 1 and a half minutes of additional material. We get some nice additions like Joey's try to get kissed towads the beginning of the episode. Chandler's comment about Bernie and Ert being "gay puppets" could have been cut out of the TV Version due to censorship. The additional sequence during the end credits where Mr. Geller tells Monica that he made his peace with Monica's relationship with Richard is interesting, too.
Black screen after the opening.
+ 1,2 sec
Before she admits her tattoo plans Phoebe says something else: "I've got a big attitude problem."
Cut to Ross who looks quite confused.
The TV Version shows Ross a little longer. The following long shot quickly fades to the next scene.
In the Extended Version you instead see Monica's reaction, followed by a different long shot during which the doorbell rings.
Richard over the intercom: "It's me. I'm double parked."
Monica: "Ok. Come on, Ross."
Ross: "Bye, guys."
Joey and Chandler: "See ya."
Ross turns to Rachel: "Bye, you."
She kisses him.
Joey enthusiastically watched this and then hopefully says to Monica; "Bye, you!"
She of course ignores him and leaves the room looking quite mad. Disillusioned he shakes hand with Chandler.
Extended Version 25.8 sec longer
There's a different shot when Monica and Ross along with Richard go to her parents. In the Extended Version there's more dialog.
Richard: "It's going to be fine. Don't worry."
Monica: "Are you not nervous?"
Richard: "I'm terrified. This is just a very observant suit."
Extended Version 12.5 sec longer
Phoebe stays behind in the tattoo studio for a short while and tells the guy: "I haven't even got my tattoo yet and I'm already tougher."
Chandler comes back at Bernie's and Ert's comment: "I'm aware we're not gay puppets!"
Cut to Joey.
In the TV Version, the shots of the surroundings are slightly longer (not illustrated below).
Extended Version 5 sec longer
TV Version Longer
At first there's the regular fade to black in the TV Version that indicates the commercial break. After it, however, there's an additional long tracking shot towards the house.
+ 5.9 sec
In the TV Version the scene finishes with a shot of Phoebe.
The Extended Version includes some more dialog.
Phoebe: "Ok. Sorry. Seriously, does it hurt a lot?"
Rachel: "No. It's just like a pinch, like that."
She pinshes her and Phoebe immediately complains about it: "Oww! Oh! Oww! Oh my God! That really hurt me. Oh, that's going to leave a mark."
Extended Version 14.7 sec longer
In the TV Version there is no final sequence. The end credits run on a black screen.
The Extended Version instead shows - as usual - an additional scene. Monica's dad comes over and talks to her about Richard.
Monica: "Hey Dad! What are you doing here?"
Mr. Geller: "I just stopped by your boyfriend's to give him a piece of my mind."
Mr. Geller: "And I was going to punch him in the nose but he had the game on so we started watching. Then at half-time I was going to give him 'what for?'. But he offered me a beer. And you know what?"
Mr. Geller becomes enthusiastic: "He's got it on tap! Right in his apartment! The damn thing is built right into his bar. It's unbelievable!"
Monica: "Dad, did you talk about me?"
Mr. Geller: "Oh right, well... Actually we never got to you. Look, you're a big girl. I just hope you know what you are doing."
Monica is happy and walks to him; "I do. Dad, you're wearing the tie that I got you!"
Mr. Geller: "Yeah."
Monica: "Where'd you get the hat?"
Mr. Geller takes his hat off; "I don't know."
Extended Version 33.4 sec longer
