After the fight scene, there is an alternative course for a while.

In the original version an additional scene with the baddies. Howard arrives in a back alley and is led in.

So Fai Lung wakes up and leaves the room of his playmate (Lena) to talk to Howard. After both have sat down, Lena joins in and there is a lot more dialogue, but is getting rid of - Howard wants to talk business or make a peace pact between the two gangs. So Fai is rather not interested, but has also heard of Tan's martial arts (because he was present in the Celestial cut during the previous fight) and wants to recruit him for the Dragon Gang.

At Celestial-Master So Fai Lung talks to his people instead and concludes that he needs Tan's help to take control of Chinatown.

In Celestial-Master the two of them talk without Lena in the room.
