As usual, almost any newer episode of Family Guy has been released as uncensored and extended version on DVD. The latest season 10 has just started to air in the US (September 2011) but the last episode released on DVD is episode "8.08". It's available on "Volume 8" and was released in June 2010. Since then, no further box has been released or even announced so far for some reason. But the English people know what they're doing. While the UK counterpart was always released a couple of months after the box set in the US (the UK Season 9 equal to the US Vol. 8 was released 5 months later), the next UK box is already available. "Season 10" contains the episodes "8.09" until "8.19", the episode Partial Terms of Endearment, which got banned from TV in the US, plus the first 3 episodes of season 9 and it was released in May 2011.

The eleventh episode of the box, 8x18 ("Quagmire's Dad"), has two new scenes to offer, apart from that there are mostly differences due to typical auditory censorship. The first of the two new scenes also could have been deleted from the TV version because of censorship reasons caused by the bad f-word. Later in this episode a gag has been substituted to allude to this new scene.

Right after the view on the house at the beginning there's an extension: Chris asks for help with his French homework, which results in some gags with the f-word.

Chris: "Dad, can you help me with my French homework?"
Peter: "Yeah, sure, why not?"
He takes the book and asks: "What's the word for fish?"
Chris answers in French and Peter keeps asking: "Good. Dog? Seal?"
Chris answers on the latter: "Phoque."
Of course this word sounds quite equally to "fuck", so Lois warns him: "Chris, watch your language."
Chris: "No, that's how you say 'seal' in French, 'phoque'."
Peter shows the corresponding page in the book: "He's right, Lois. Look. And here, I'll help you remember. What's this?"
A seal on a sofa is shown: "A lazy phoque."
Peter says "Good" and turns the page to another picture of a cross-eyed seal.
Chris: "Dumb phoque."
Peter says "Good" again, then there's a puking seal.
Chris: "Sick phoque."
An almost similar picture follows in which the seal is twisted: "Sick, twisted phoque."
Several seals together "Cluster phoque."
Peter sticks a picture from a newspaper to the picture of the ugly seal and Chris answers: "Ugly phoque and bitch."
Peter: "Good job, I think you're ready. Remember, you can use that word as much as you want even home at the dinner table in front of your parents because it's French. And French is classy."

After Brian got sent away by Peter and Lois, he walks past Stewie.

Brian: "See you, Stewie."
Stewie: "Brian, please, can I go with you? It's so boring here."
Brian: "For the last time, you can't come."
Stewie: "Well, fine, then, go. I don't need you to have fun. I know how to have a good time."
Now you can see him simulating the show 'The View' with cardboard guests.
Stewie: "Whoopi, can you believe this girl? Elizabeth, what you conservatives have to understand..."
Interrupting voiceover of Lois "Stewie, it's time for dinner."
Stewie: "Ma, I'm recording!"
Lois: "Come on upstairs, honey. I made your favorite, mac and cheese."
Stewie: "Ma, I have to do this now!"

In the DVD version Peter says "We're finally gonna get to meet the man of a thousand vaginas.", this was re-recorded for the TV version and the bad word was replaced by "chicks".
The lip movements differ slightly because of that (just a picture from the DVD version).

Alternative
03:45-03:57

After Peter has read Joe's text message about Quagmire's father, the scene ends differently. The DVD version again alludes to the additional scene at the beginning.

TV version

Peter writes and you can see on Joe's cell phone "so ducking gay".
He looks puzzled and Peter says: "Oh, sorry, that's my auto spell correct. But, uh, yeah, he's super gay."

DVD version

Peter puts away his cell phone and takes out a notepad. After he drew something, he shows it to Joe and you can see that he has drawn some seals.
Joe says: "Big gay phoque.
Peter: "Big gay phoque. Yeah."
