As usual, almost any newer episode of Family Guy has been released as uncensored and extended version on DVD. The latest season 10 has just started to air in the US (September 2011) but the last episode released on DVD is episode "8.08". It's available on "Volume 8" and was released in June 2010. Since then, no further box has been released or even announced so far for some reason. But the English people know what they're doing. While the UK counterpart was always released a couple of months after the box set in the US (the UK Season 9 equal to the US Vol. 8 was released 5 months later), the next UK box is already available. "Season 10" contains the episodes "8.09" until "8.19", the episode Partial Terms of Endearment, which got banned from TV in the US, plus the first 3 episodes of season 9 and it was released in May 2011.

The second episode of this boxset, 8x10 ("Big Man on Hippocampus"), contains several modifications. Many of the alterations were made for TV. Two scenes contains slightly alternate and more offensive sexual references. Chris' fondness to masturbate has been entirely cut for TV. Besides a new harmless dialog with the "foreign guys", there are some controversial differencesas well: only the Extended Version contains the scenes with German Jews and a poop joke with Stewie. Last but not least, there's quite an oddity in this episode: even though the DVD Version doesn't reveal a thing, Quagmires pubic genital area got blurred. And one could see his front in the previous scene. In that scene, he was genderless. So there's no reason at all to blurr the following scene.
00:59

Tom Tucker adds another program announcement: "Also, 6 million German Jews suddenly show up. Find out where they've been at 11."

Peter expresses himself more clearly in the DVD Version, he also uses the V-Word more often. That's why his lip movements have been altered.

TV: "Lois was so wrecked they had to sew her up and open up a new vagina right next to the first one."
DVD: "Lois' vagina was so wrecked they had to sew it up, open up a new vagina next to it."

And another more direct sexual reference from Lois.

TV: "I wanna be your pinky ring."
DVD: "I want you to wear me like a pinky ring."

In the TV Version, the correct word for Meg's statement "a razorblade and a note" is "sundries".

The DVD Version is ruder with her and Chris also joins the party.

A red X pops up and, after a disappointed "Awww" from the audience, host Richard Dawson says: "Ooh, that's a strike. Can't do anything but take that personally."
Dawson keeps walking: "Young Chris Griffin. So, what are your hobbies, Chris?"
Chris: "Masturbating."
Dawson jokes: "We should form a club. All right, name something you find in your bathroom."
Chris: "Me masturbating."
Dawson: "All right, show me him masturbating."
And indeed, the termn "teenager masturbating" pops up on the score board. The audience applauds.

After Peter played Grand Theft Auto and knows how to handle a vehicle again, an additional scene follows. Stewie needs to suffer as well because Peter changed his diapers in a quite unorthodox way.

Stewie sits in his bed, he looks pretty unhinged. Brian comes in and asks: "Stewie, what's wrong?"
Stewie: "Fat man. He changed my diaper."
Brian: "So?"
Stewie: "Brian, he put it up inside."
Brian: "Oh, God. Look, he didn't know what he was doing. He's still without his memory."
Stewie: "How am I going to get it out? I'd have to poop a diaper into a diaper. That's how you end up in another dimension."
Brian: "Gee, that's rough."
Stewie: "I need a friend, Brian, like I have never needed a friend before."
Brian: "Oh, damn it. All right, I'll take it out."
When Brian comes closer, he's totally disgusted and says: "Oh, God, that smells like the food foreign guys reheat at work."
A cutaway gag follows. Several people are staning in front of a microwave: "Oh, God, what is that smell? Oh, did somebody light a box of Band-Aids on fire?"
The microwave beeps and a dark-skinned guy arrives: "Would anyone like to try my gimbap?"
The other men start puking immediately.

After Seamus introduced hisself, an additional scene with the "foreign guys" follows.

#1: "Man, I'm telling you, this party is on the hook, man."
#2: "Oh, you said it, friend. Don't let me near a cassette player or I will be disc-jockey all night."
#1: "Where is the alcoholic? I will guzzle 4 hecaliters and that will very quickly get me to the buzzers."
#2: "Ha, ha. You're crazy. Your head is on sidewards, man."

When Quagmire tries to get up his wiener, the TV Version is blurred for a couple of seconds. Completely and utterly superfluous because one sees zip anyway.
