Blue Dragon is an Anime series based on the same-named Xbox 360 RPG by Mistwalker. Just as many other Anime series before, it was aired in a censored TV version in the USA. To avoid any difference in time the editors decided to repeat several scenes or simply add self-made star animations. Additionally they often edited scenes or just deleted/retouched some characters. They even changed one of the main characters - Bouquet - by reducing the size of her breasts. Even the soundtrack was altered. Akira Toriyama (of Dragonball fame) came up with the character design and if you take a closer look at the series, you will find that Blue Dragon and Dragonball share several similarities besides the word "dragon". Since it's an Akira Toriyama production, the series also includes a sort of "underwear humor" - one of the characters is completely obsessed with females' panties. For the US TV-standards scenes like that had to be changed - both the images and the dubbing differ immensely from the original version.
