Comparison between the bonus version without audio commentary and the original TV/DVD version, both included on the US DVD set "Season 17". - 2 differences, including 1 audio censorship Same procedure as every year: The next DVD set of Family Guy, available in the U.S. since December 2019, contains all episodes of season 17, some of which are also available in an extended or simply uncensored form compared to the original TV versions. A sticker on the plastic foil gives this away, but on the set itself there are no further hints. Episode 17x19 ("Girl, Internetted") is extended right at the beginning during the visit of the convention for YouTube stars with a jab at the visitors there. As it is often the case, this is obviously only a tightening for time reasons on TV. Beyond that, there is one of the usual F-word-beeps. Notes: 02:22-02:23
In the DVD version, the Griffins are talking a little earlier at the Streaming Con. Lois: "Everyone, look around. This. We are slowly losing to this." Chris: "Well, I don't know if we're..." Lois: "Excuse me. Is your name Big Bang Theory? Cause if it's not, you're losing to this." Peter: "Okay, on that happy note... Corey!" In the TV version, the first frames afterwards are different, because here Stewie is still on Lois' arm and there are other people in the background. DVD version 13 sec longer
In the 6th minute, the DVD also has long beeps as Meg talks about her skills. Audio censorship 13:27 Meg says without a beep, "Makes opiates look like fucking baby aspirin."
