Comparison between the TV Version and the Extended Version.

11 differences, among them 2 with alternative footage
Difference: 121.7 sec (= 2:02 min)

Same old, same old: The Blu-ray release only contains the TV versions of the episodes, as was the case with the first and second season. Those who know the DVD releases from the USA or Great Britain will surely miss the extended versions, which can be found on these DVDs.

Episode 3x01 (The One with the Princess Leia Fantasy) is approx. 2 minutes longer spread over several amaller extended scenes. Some of which are rather redundant but some which make sense though. Especially Joey has a few more laughs now.

02:35

Janice shows herself at her best, Joey does not like it very much.

Janice: "Ooh, someone's wearing grumpy pants."
Chandler: "It's gotta be you, man. I'm wearing smarty pants."
Janice: "Okay, here we go. One, two, and here is my chance to give you" - she frivolously winks at Chandler - "a third one. Joey?"
Joey refuses quickly: "No, no. I'll just have juice."

02:49-02:50

After Chandler realized that he is dating a divorced woman which makes him feel like an adult, he adds in a more paternal way: "Joey, hey, go to your room!
Joey hits back: "Chandler, hey, up yours!"

In the TV Version, the following shot of Chandler & Janice starts insignificantly earlier (no screenshots).

Extended Version 6.9 sec longer

05:27-05:29

Only in the Extended Version, Phoebe explains her plan how to get rid of Janice.
Joey: "Come on people, we need some inspiration!"
Phoebe: "Yeah, ok. All right, you want a plan? Here we go, all right. So, ok Ross, you go into the air duct and disable the alarm, okay? And then the rest of us will just rappel down ropes. We're in and out in ten minutes and then disappear into the night. Huh, huh?"
The others turn away. Then a smooth transition to the exterior shot of the house.

In the TV Version, the introductory distance shot of the group (during which Joey asks for any kind of inspiration in the Extended Version) begins slightly earlier, followed by a smooth transition to the exterior shot of the house (no screenshots).

Extended Version 18.2 sec longer

In the Extended Version, Ross elaborates his sexual fantasy about Jabba the Hutt: "He was this, uh...really fat worm guy."
Rachel: "Wow, men and women really are different."
Ross: "No, no, no, see..."

When he then leads over to Princess Leia, the TV Version is back in the game with alternate takes at the beginning.

Extended Version 9.7 sec longer

Ross: "Oh, ok!"

10:37

Chandler and Joey keep discussing that the latter should at least make an effort to like Janice.

Chandler: "Like her!
Joey: "No."
Chandler: "So you're not going to even try?"
Joey: "What's the point?"

11:06-11:07

Black screen due to a commercial break in the TV Version. To make up for it, the Extended Version contains an additional exterior shot as transition.

Extended Version 1.7 sec longer

13:51

After Phoebe's therapy hour for Monica, the following scene with Joe and Janice starts earlier. Joey is home alone, someone knocks and Joey gets startled by Janice's croaky "Guess who?" from outside. He snorts, slowly walks to the door, takes a deep breath / puts on a fake smile and welcomes her: "Janice! Hi, you just missed Chandler, but won't you come in before you go?"
She enters and says "So.".

In the TV Version, the following shot of Janice starts a few frames earlier. As a result, she also gets to say "So" - but from a closer angle (no screenshots).

Extended Version 21.2 sec longer

Alternate
13:54-14:00

When Joey explains himself that he had never used the term "hate" when he was talking about her, both of the versions contain a angle.

Before gloomy Monica is walked in by Rachel, the Extended Version contains an additional conversation with the rest of the group. One more time, the conversation is about Janice and Phoebe makes an inappropiate comment. Last but not least, Chandler mocks Monica.

Chandler: "So do you guys all hate Janice too?"
Phoebe: "Oh, you hate Janice now? Oh! Joey's going to be so relieved."
Chandler looks mean, Rachel spots Monica standing in front of the window.
Rachel: "Oh my god!"
She approaches her and says to Chandler: "Oh, look everybody. It's Weepy: The Mime That Cares Too Much."
