Compared are the TV Version and the DVD Version (US DVD Set "Season 15")
- 2 differences, incl. 1x alternate footage - Length difference: 9.6 sec Even though Seth MacFarlane is currently pretty busy with his incredible Star Trek hommage The Orville, his first baby still airs on a regular basis. And once again, the time has come: The latest US DVD Set of Famil Guy contains the entire season 15. Compared to the original FOX TV Versions, the DVDs contain either extended or simply uncensored episodes - this time, it reads "16 are totally uncensored, but the other 4 are still ridiculously funny" on the back cover. Time to take a closer look. Episode 1 ("The Boys in the Band") is only a few seconds longer. There are two longer scenes, the first one without any dialog. Apparently cut for time rasons - in other words, not exactly what one might have pictured regarding the "totally uncensored" promise. The sex gags and everything involving Quagmire are identically equal. 09:44
The exterior shot is a few minor frames longer. The following scene at the gym starts earlier as well: Pan shot from the children on the slides to the gym. 3.7 sec
Alternate 09:45-09:46 The subsequent animation differs at the beginning: In the TV Version, Olivia instantanously appears when Brian takes a look outside. In the DVD Version, Brian makes a comment first: "That's a pretty cool place for a party." Then Stewie: "Yes, although that grown-up is dunking on that mini-hoop like we're all supposed to be impressed." DVD Version 5.9 sec longer
