The Original Broadcast Version lacks the final shot of the Chairman during the BGC (Bad Guys Conference). (1.4 sec)

A plane takes off, a conversation in the cockpit follows.
Pilot: "We got ourselves a diplomat back there who could change the future of the world."
Co-Pilot: "Keep on course, Captain. VIPs. We set down easy."
Then the passengers, followed by the landing approach. (36.67 sec)

With the shot of the Eifel Tower at night, the versions are back in sync. Well, more or less…

38.1 sec

…because Roger's answer to Julian's question "And who is worth one billion dollars?" (identical in both versions) is only in the Original Broadcast Version.
Roger (via Voice-Over): "One of the most important men in the United States."
Moreover, the shot is insignificantly longer in the Original Broadcast Version.

Original Broadcast Version 0.37 sec longer

After the shot of the Eifel Tower, the versions continue differently resp. only the Expanded Syndication Version contains another shot of the ship.

Next scene, next alteration. Bill Cameron is on the way to the hospital. Basically, both versions are identically but the scenes are accompanied by music in the Expanded Syndication Version while there is not any in the Original Broadcast. Here, one only gets to hear the regular sound of the sccene and the voice-over. (no screenshots)

no difference

23:58

Further redundant shots of the city, followed by more footage of the bad guys.
Baddie: "Phase One of Ambassador Cameron has been completed. We have every reason to believe that the projected net profit from this project will not only be realized but the company will far exceed that contemplated figure. As a consequence, an extra dividend will be distributed to the sharing trust upon completion of the transaction."

34.67 sec

Alternate Footage
25:25

Here, there is both identical and exclusive footage in either of the versions.
The final shot of Julian is longer in the Original Broadcast Version. Furthermore, he comments the just committed homicide with "One down and one to go." in the Original Broadcast Version. The second part of his comment ("…and one to go") is audible during the following shot and the beginning of the subsequent shot of Steve though. (1,57 sec)
Then a shot of Aspen, Colorado. (1,73 sec)
As compensation, the Expanded Syndication Version contains a shot of an approaching train plus skiers on the slope. Then Steve. He takes off his skiiing goggles while a girl is talking to him. Further shots of the slope follow.
Girl (from the off resp. via voice-over): "Steve, I decided to stay a few days longer like you suggested." (17,9 sec)
With the subsequent shot of Steve putting his skiing goggles back on, the versions are back in sync. As already mentioned, Julian's comment ends here in the Original Broadcast Version. It is similar in the Expanded Syndication Version, except it is the girl's comment that ends here. Other than that, the scene with Steve and girl skiing is identical. Well, almost. The scene is 3 frames longer in the Original Broadcast Version. (0.1 sec)
Original Broadcast VersionExpanded Syndication Version

In the Expanded Syndication Version, the conversation goes on though.
Girl (via voice-over again): "I don't believe your stories about your moon trip. You make it sound so simple. The next you take a vacation, I think we ought to go to Hawaii and do some surfing. That is if we survive this skiing." (16.17 sec)

The bottom line is the Expanded Syndication Version is approx. half-a-minute longer.

30.7 sec

Missing shots of the ship, then the bad guys conference again.
Baddie: "A message has just been received confirming the arrival of Ambassador Cameron to this destination as per the plan's schedule. I'm happy to report that our branch in Washington DC has advised that the State Department has urgently requested authority from the President to comply with our demands for gold payment as negotiated by the representatives of our Executive Committee."
Now a further exterior shot of the ship, follwed by another one of a building. After that, the shot with the rat in a maze - already known from the second pilot - follows. But contrary to the second pilot, there is more footage of the rat here. To be more specific, Dr. Bergner grabs it, takes it out of the maze and puts it back in its cage which by the way the scene from which point on the versions are back in sync.

Please note: In the second pilot, which was only in the Expanded Syndication Version by the way, was shows without any context at all. It now becomes clear that this scene is actually from the third pilot which begs the question why it was in the second pilot in the first pilot.

Basically, the shot of the chairman is identical but only the Original Broadcast Version fades to black here. The Original Broadcast Version then fades back in to an exterior shot of a building. (6,77 sec)
The Expanded Syndication shows the chairman as well but it neither fades to black nor does it fade back in . (keine Screenshots)
Instead, an exterior shot of the "United States Depository" building follows. The spot in front of the building is crawling with reporters. Some footage of the interior follows.
Guy on the phone: "The shipment is being made under Inspection 483."
Shots of the ransom money resp. the gold bars follow because the two parties agreed to pay 1 billion USD in gold as ransom.
Then the guy on the phone again: "Route the shipment via file 642."
And more footage of the ransom drop preparations.
Guy (from the off): "Get the cases stacked and inventory."
Finally, the mentioned exterior of (a different) building which is also in the Original Broadcast Version - without fading in here. (66 sec)
