Comapred are the Unrated Director's Cut and the Workprint
The sequel, almost mandatory due to the huge success of the first installment, starts where the first one ended. One shouldn't expect much innovation though. The story is more or less the same except this time there are three women on the rack instead of men. Furthermore, there are many ideas from other movies in Hostel: Part II - e.g. from Caligula, Hannibal or Fudoh. Basically, the Workprint is the final cut. As a result, there are only a few minor differences. Besides general differences elaborated at the beginning of the comparison and rather insignificant alternate footage, the alternate scene of Axelle's beheaded body ist probably the most interesting difference. General Differences
Comparison [00:02:46][00:03:11] Alternate shot of the monitor. 2 sec each [00:06:25][00:06:50] Same here. 1 sec each [00:06:44][00:07:09] The third shot of the monitor is differnt as well. 2 sec each [00:24:46][00:25:11] There is a small difference on Beth's auction site.
