This is a comparison between the US Blu-ray by Shout! Factory (Rating: PG) and the US DVD by MGM (2000 first edition / Rating: PG).
1 minute and 47 seconds are missing within 2 scenes. This classic horror movie, which entailed a less successful sequel as well as a TV series, by the successful director Wes Craven (Scream 1-4, A Nightmare on Elm Street) was cut by two nude scenes in order to get a PG rating and was then shown like this in the theaters. The later VHS editions are equal to this version. When the movie was released for the first time on DVD in 2000, they obviously didn't notice that they had just released the uncut version with a PG rating instead of the theatrical version. This blooper only came to light when an outraged mother made a complaint, because she let her kids watch the movie and thought that it was the mild version of the movie, which should be the case when there's a PG rating on the cover. But the exposed breasts were obviously too much for this American mum. The label acted immediately and released the DVD again, but this time the correct version. The two DVD versions can be easily told apart by the cover. The title of the uncut version is printed in green, while it's red in the mild version. The recent Blu-ray and DVD release by Shot! Factory also contains the two cuts. 0 Min

After an exterior shot of Arcane's mansion, the inside of the building is shown and we see a guest making out with a blonde woman while he's taking her bra off, after which he caresses her breasts. Moreover, a sparsely-dressed woman is dancing for the guests during this whole scene. She takes her bra off after a while and keeps dancing. 76.5 sec
