Tim Burton´s and Johnny Depp´s fifth collaboration so far, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, is a successfull adaption of Roald Dahl´s famous book. Equipped with a high budget the two eccentrics both could let of the steam and presented a coloured and bizarre fairytale, which was also successfull at the theatres.

The HD-DVD Version runs a bit longer in comparison to the theatrical cut. Rumours are heard that this version was also showed on TV in America.
