Comparison between the cut US TV broadcast (Movies) on November 01, 2021 (8:00pm) and the uncut UK 4K Blu-ray from BFI (BBFC 18).

Get Carter with Michael Caine from 1971 was a groundbreaking classic, still admired by fans over 50 years later. In England, the 4K UHD premiere of BFI was released on August 01, 2022, in a fancy Limited Edition with an 80-page book. Reason enough for us to once again check foreign TV broadcasts for censors.
In the USA, we can attest blur effects in several scenes with nudity and lots of audio censorship. In Great Britain, some shots with nudity in the opening sequence and the suggestion of rape were cut. Possibly both was done due to the early broadcast time.

Preliminary note: The screenshots of the 4K UHD were converted from HDR to SDR with tone mapping. Thus, as usual with 4K material, it is not a faithful reproduction of the TV picture quality with HDR (as can be additionally guessed from the compressed screenshot size, of course).
The US TV broadcast still had a quick warning note to start. Not included in the runtime.

As described in our report on the UK TV version, this introductory scene was dubbed in the U.S. with people who speak with less of an accent. Interestingly, you can hear "Bare-ass naked" as well in the US TV version, while in the further course various swear words were muted. Blur effect 01:05-01:06 / 01:07-01:08 After the third photo remained untouched, something was made unrecognizable again in the fourth image.
Audio censorship 24:40 / 24:42 Carter's comment about Eric's eyes was muted: "They're still the same. Piss-holes in the snow."

Audio censorship 28:05 / 28:07 Cyril says: "Sometimes I think I'll retire and just piss off to the Bahamas..."

Audio censorship 36:17 / 36:18 The cheering was partly muted: "That's right, tear her fucking hair out." By the way: Although you can't see the mouth movements, this censorship is also overly noticeable because the many bar noises can no longer be heard in the background for a brief moment.
Blur effect 39:28-39:30 / 39:28-39:30 Phone sex: Anna follows Carter's order and takes off her top.
Blur effect 39:42-40:06 / 39:42-40:06 After a longer shot of Carter, the chest is again made unrecognizable in various other shots of Anna.
Blur effect 40:26-40:36 / 40:26-40:36 You can see Anna topless for the last time.
Audio censorship 42:05 / 42:05 "Let's stop pissing about."
Audio censorship 42:28 / 42:28 Getting out of the car, a cursed "Christ!" was muted.
Audio censorship 48:46-48:51 / 48:46-48:51 When Cliff joins in, his "Jesus wept!" was completely muted. Interestingly, "I'll murder the little bitch!" was kept uncensored in the same shot shortly after.
Shortly thereafter (49:50), "Where are you, you little bitch?" and "Well, old bastard, I hope your house falls down" can be heard uncensored. In the further course of the film, "bastard" and "bitch" can also be heard uncensored, so these words were obviously not considered so critical. Audio censorship 52:37 / 52:36 Carter: "That old shit."
Note: How Carter unbuttons Edna's top about a minute later can be seen uncensored, unlike the British TV version. Blur effect 55:45-55:46 / 55:43-55:44 When the gangsters surprise Cartner and Edna in bed, a small blur effect has been placed over her cleavage again, although you can't really see anything really alarming there.
Blur effect 60:42-61:05 / 60:40-61:03 The posters on the wall were blurred for small bits of breasts and genital area.
Audio censorship 61:29 / 61:27 Keith: "Frank said you were a shit and he was bloody well right!"

Blur effect 69:42-70:12 / 69:40-70:10 During the car ride, you see as a montage several short shots with Glenda's naked butt and her breasts. In these short moments, the US TV version of course always has a blur effect over these naughty bits.
Blur effect 71:09-72:48 / 71:07-72:46 Since Carter again exposes Glenda's chest, a blur effect was once again applied to various shots. In the end, this also affects her butt as she runs into the bathroom.
Blur effect 73:00-73:01 / 72:58-72:59 On the first shot of the "teacher's pet", of course, the boobs were blurred.
Blur effect 74:27-74:33 / 74:25-74:31 Glenda in the bathtub - without vs with breasts.
Blur effect 74:44-74:52 / 74:42-74:50 Although a pair of panties remains on in the video clip, this was probably still problematic because they are almost transparent. So a little blur effect was placed over it. Immediately afterwards, Glenda's breasts in the bathtub were made unrecognizable again.
Blur effect 76:45-77:40 / 76:43-77:38 Towards the end of the shot with Glenda in the bathtub, her breasts are again briefly flashing several times in between. This is also the case in the following shots, where Carter pushes her into the water and pulls her out again.

Blur effect 97:54-98:05 / 97:51-98:2 Of course, when Carter forces Margaret to undress, her breasts and genital area were made unrecognizable.
Blur effect 98:55-99:03 / 98:51-98:59 Carter carries away the unconscious Margaret. Immediately afterwards, you can see a sex scene on the TV, in which the breasts were also blurred.
Blur effect 99:38 / 99:34 During the next bed scene, the familiar blur effect flashes up for a brief moment at the end.
Blur effect 103:19-103:24 / 103:15-103:20 When the policemen recover Margaret's body, the chest was censored again.
The US TV version still has the Warner logo after the credits.
