John Wick: Chapter 4

The Last of Us

Color of Night

Comparison:

  • International Theatrical Version
  • Unrated Director's Cut
Release: Jul 16, 2011 - Author: Eiskaltes Grab - Translator: Roughale - external link: IMDB
There seem to be four different versions of the film Color of Night:

  • The R-Rated theatrical release form the USA is supposedly cut in the scenes showin nudity.
  • The international theatrical release is the same as the US counterpart, only without cuts of scenes showing nudity.
  • The R-Rated Director's Cut was released in the USA on all media types. It contained 15 minutes of extra scenes, but has been slightly cut.
  • The Unrated Director's Cut contains 15 minutes worth of extra plot scenes and is completely uncut.

The R-Rated theatrical release was only released in cinemas in the US. The international version saw a DVD release in Italy. This is the version this cut report is focusing on. Interesting in this rather rare theatrical release is that it contains numerous scenes that are not included in the Unrated Director's Cut. This includes scenes showing nudity as well. The Unrated Director's Cut is much longer, nevertheless. The music also differs in the inernational theatrical release an some scenes have been put together differently.

More information about the genesis of the different versions can be found here.

Compared were the international Theatrical Release and the Uncut Unrated Director's Cut.
