Comparison:

  • TV Version
  • DVD Version
Release: Jan 11, 2014 - Author: Muck47 - Translator: Tony Montana - external link: IMDB - more from this series
Compared are the TV Version and the DVD Version, the latter represented by the US DVD Set "Volume 11".

2 differences (among them 1x censored audio track, 1x alternate footage)
Length difference: 23.9 sec

The numbers are still confusing but at least one DVD set now contains an entire season instead of episodes from two seasons, as it used to be the case with previous DVD releases. As a result, "Volume 11" (US) / "Season 12" (UK) contains all the episode of Season 10. Compared to the TV Versions, the DVD Versions are uncensored and uncut.

Episode 19 ("Mr. & Mrs. Stewie") is almost 30 seconds longer, caused by a redundant additional plot scene. There's uncensored swearing as well. So basically, one doesn't miss much when watching the TV Version.

Please note:
Episode 18 ("You Can't Do That On Television, Peter") doesn't contain any differences on DVD.

Stewie uncensored: " (Is this what your parents are paying all that tuition for?) So you can fuck dogs?"

The TV Version only contains a longer shot of the house.

The DVD Version contains a shorter shot from the same angle with Brian and Stewie standing in front of it. Then a conversation in which Stewie criticizes Brian's presence and him in general.

Stewie: "All right, as soon as they answer, you can go. I don't want Penelope to think I need an escort to a playdate."
Brian: "Oh, you got yourself a little girlfriend, huh?"
Stewie: "She's not my girlfriend. Unlike you, I don't view every female I meet as some kind of pork holster."
Penelope appears: "Stewart, darling. Hello."
They give eacg other an air-kiss and Stewie justifies his action to Brian: "What? That's how they do it in Europe. Now, get out of here! Go sit in the car and agree with yourself while you listen to NPR."
