Comparison between the HD version and the original version (both included on the German Blu-ray by Filmjuwelen)
In the comparison of the pilot episode, we have already summarized everything about the problems with the HD remastering of Baywatch, which is different in songs and also censored in nude scenes, at least right at the beginning. Episode 2x09 (The Trophy: Part 1) is once again a more complicated case, because several alternative takes can be found throughout the episode. Entire scenes are partly specially assembled from different angles, which is a bit strange. On top of that there are some cuts.
Alternative
06:08-06:10 / 06:08-06:10 After Mitch honks the horn, the original version changes to Eric. The HD master remains with Mitch and Shauni throughout. No time difference
Alternative 06:18-06:21 / 06:18-06:21 Again, the original version goes outside, in the HD master instead a close-up of Shauni. No time difference
Exchanged song with the girls running around in minute 12. Alternative 12:36-12:39 / 12:35-12:38 At exactly this promiscuous scene you can see an alternative close-up here. The one from the original version is shorter and so the follow-up shot starts earlier. No time difference
Alternative 14:50-15:02 / 14:49-15:01 When Eddie answers the phone, the original version shows him from up close and the HD master only from a distance. The same happens after the identical re-cut to Shauni, although in the HD version she puts the phone down a bit longer. No time difference
Alternative 16:55-17:25 / 16:54-17:24 The first shots of the beach volleyball game are different. The original version has more re-cuts and sometimes only shows the short end of the shot that is shown throughout the HD master. No time difference
Alternative 18:51-19:13 / 18:50-19:12 Again several times Eddie on the phone. No time difference
Alternative 19:28-19:31 / 19:27-19:30 Alternative shot of Eddie running out. No time difference
Alternative 19:40-20:24 / 19:39-20:23 Completely alternative takes when Eddie swims in the water to Caroline. No time difference
Alternative 25:19-25:27 / 25:17-25:25 The glider flight directly after the black screen break in alternative take. No time difference
