Compared are the TV Version and the DVD Version (US DVD Set "Season 15")

- 3 differences, incl. 1x alternate footage & 1x censored audio
- Length difference: 22.7 sec

Even though Seth MacFarlane is currently pretty busy with his incredible Star Trek hommage The Orville, his first baby still airs on a regular basis. And once again, the time has come: The latest US DVD Set of Famil Guy contains the entire season 15. Compared to the original FOX TV Versions, the DVDs contain either extended or simply uncensored episodes - this time, it reads "16 are totally uncensored, but the other 4 are still ridiculously funny" on the back cover. Time to take a closer look.

Episode 13 ("The Finer Strings") contains two additional scenes. Both have probably been removed for time reasons but the second one is at least a little more interesting because there is an alternate animation prior to the additional scene. Furthermore, an F-bomb is uncensored.

Episode 11 ("Gronkowsbees") only contains an uncensored comment in the 18th minute: "Also, I'm fuckin' insane.". By definition, that makes it one of the "uncensored episodes" but there will be no further comparison for that.
There are no differences in Episode 12 ("Peter's Def Jam").
07:57

More dialog after Joe asks if Peter had been practicing.

Peter: "All the time! But you gotta understand. I'm comin' from the kazoo world. So, it's gonna take a little while to transfer that whole body of information into this instrument."
Quagmire: "Come on, you clearly haven't been practicing."

Alternate
10:28-10:34

Alternate animation of Peter saying he had been practicing to the song Bittersweet Symphony all the time.

Before Quagmire kicks him out of the band (this is where the DVD Version switches to the angle from the TV Version), only the DVD Version contains the cutaway.
Peter is standing in front of the mirror, humming Bittersweet Symphony. Then he says: "Okay, enough. I gotta remind myself I can over-practice."
