Similar to the first pilot, only the Expanded Syndication Version contains a recap - followed by the regular opening of the show. (387.23 sec resp. 6 min and 27.23 sec / no screenshots)
Subsequently further credits during some scenes that show Steve in action (among other things, he is running across a mine field). This is by the way the very same footage already used at the beginning of part 1. The final exterior shots are different though. With the following shot of Cynthia at the roulette table, the versions are back in sync. (138.43 sec resp. 2 min and 18.43 sec)

With the shot of Alexi, the Original Broadcast Version fades to black. (1 sec / no screenshots)
The Expanded Syndication Version however contains an exterior shot of te boat instead - without fading to black between the two scenes. A close-up of two armed guards follows. Then Steve and Katrina (one shot each) inside the boat. (12,9 sec)
With the following distance shot of a trafficked road, the versions are back in sync.

Original Broadcast Version:
When Steve slowly wakes up, the camera zooms out. Katrina is with him, they are having a chat.


Expanded Syndication Version:
We have the same shot of Steve here but he does not wake up instantaneously. Instead, we see Steve on the moon. To be more specific, Steve is dreaming of it. He then wakes up slowly but before he is actually awake, more stock footage of him during the test flight, him diving away and scenes of his surgery is being used here. When Steve is fully conscious again, the Expanded Syndication Version also shows him having a chat with Katrina.
