We then see footage of Steve fishing, the guards are watching him from their post. At some point, Steve puts down angle and with the now following shot of Steve talking to the guards - even though he is well aware that they do not speak English! - the versions are back in sync.

After Katrina calls for Steve when he is already in the water, the Original Broadcast Version continues with Oscar on the phone.
The Expanded Syndication Version shows some interior and exterior footage of the O.S.I. building instead (more stock footage by the way). After that, we see Oscar on the phone as well but the Expanded Syndication Version contains an additional shot of him on the phone. With the following shot of Harry, with whom Oscar in on the phone, the versions are back in sync.

Right after the shot of Harry, the next alteration has been made.
In the Original Broadcast Version, the shot of Oscar starts earlier and we get to hear a comment made by Harry: "Apparrently, he's been out of town."
This additional shot of Oscar is the one from the last cut. Only here, it is the beginning of a longer shot showing Oscar on the phone while it was a stand-alone shot in the Expanded Syndication Version - without a comment by Harry being made.

Even though both versions then continue with another exterior shot of the car, the Original Broadcast Version slowly fades back in while there is no fade to black nor fade-in in the Expanded Syndication Version. All in all, the Expanded Syndication Version is insignificantly longer.
