Compared are the German VHS Version and the Korean VOD Version

34 differences, consisting of
* 17 additional scenes in the Korean VOD Version with a total length of 126 sec (= 2:06 min)
* 17 additional scenes in the German VHS Version with a total length of 233.1 sec (= 3:53 min)

Length difference: 107.1 sec (= 1:47 min)

Both versions contain numerous small jump cuts with a length of less than 0.5 seconds each that will not be listed in the following comparison.

The martial arts flick The Korean Connection from 1976 is a tough one when it comes to the different versions: After its theatrical release in Germany, the movie got a VHS release in Germany as well. Other releases worldwide are very rare. One of these releases is the US DVD with is approx. 10 minutes shorter than the German VHS.

Another version would be the Korean VOD Version. Even though it is almost 2 minutes shorter than the German VHS Version, the picture quality is pretty good (still a movie role including all its flaws but contrary to the German VHS Version in its original aspect ratio and enhanced coloring). And in spite of the cuts, the Korean VOD Version contains several scenes that are not in the German VHS Version.

Most of the missing footage in either of the versions is probably the result of jump cuts. Unfortunately, the decent Korean master contains nuermous cuts in the fight scenes. Getting a version that actually contains the entire footage seems almost impossible though.
