Epilog:21.15 The sign in the background and Ballistamon's description were translated. Additionally, the scene is slightly longer in the US version. US version: 24.6 seconds Japanese version: 15.04 seconds
21.29 The logo's display is different. Note: For an illustration of this sequence, have a look at the first episode's report. No difference in time. Preview and endig: 21.32 The preview is different, too. Often, the US version uses different scenes and placed others to a different moment. The Japanese TV version includes the next episode title and a short description (which includes commercials and sponsors). The ending is only there in the US version and was created just for this version by Saban (see the first episode's report). Note for the following illustrations: The illustrations are just used as an example. The differences are too great, therefore a detailed list of illustrations would require an image for each and every scene.
Conclusion for the second episode: Alterations that were done due to censorship mainly include the alterations of Lillymon and her re-colored top. Additionally, there are some more alterations (such as the shining weapons) and a cut during scenes with Troopmons. However it has to be noted that the producers have forgotten to include this alteration at times, after all, the US version still includes scenes that show the weapons in their unaltered form. The same goes for two scenes with Lillymon. During the recap of the first episode there is a scene where her torso was not altered. All other alterations – just as in the first episode – concern content and looks. Of course, the dubbing is heavily different in this episode, too. Just as was noted in the intro, we cannot go into greater detail about all differences (since they are simply too extensive). Therefore the US version again and again uses childish remarks. People no longer talk about war. The most obvious alteration of dialog happens during Orochimon's release. In the Japanese version Mad Leomon talks about Orochimon ripping the kids to pieces, while in the US version the remark more harmless. Additionally, Mad Leomon's disdain for humanity was depicted much more harmless. Additionally, the US version includes dialog where there is none in the Japanese version.
