Compared are the TV Version and the Extended Version

9 differences, 5 of them with alternate footage
Difference: 44 sec

The Blu-ray release only contains the TV versions of the episodes, as was the case with the first season. Those who know the DVD releases from the USA or Great Britain will surely miss the extended versions, which can be found on these DVDs.

Episode 2x03 (The One Where Heckles Dies) is a little more than 30 seconds longer. Usually, alternate and slightly longer dialogs are the reason. Nothing really worth mentioning but there's more of Phoebe's crazy talk and also the digressing dialog at the end when they're coming down on Monica again which is kind of nice.
01:58-01:59

Slightly longer black screen after the opening credits in the TV Version.

+ 1.2 sec

05:54

In the Extended Version, Chandler keeps mocking Phoebe after he commented the knocking on the door (that it was Isaac Newton because Phoebe had previously doubted the existence of gravity): "Quick Pheebs, hop on the ceiling!"
In the TV Version, the previous shot of Phoebe is trivially longer (hasn't considered as alternate footage).

Extended Version 2.5 sec longer

Alternate
08:44-08:48

Now an alternate take with a different intonation (rather innocent in the TV Version, more aggressive in the Extended Version) when Rachel asks "Well, what about my stuff?".
Furthermore, the shot of Monica starts a little earlier in the TV Version because she hesitates before she answers.

08:50

After Monica said "You don't have any stuff." the versions differ again. This time, the Extended Version is the longer one.

Rachel: "This will be the start of my stuff."
Monica: "Mmmm...no!"

09:37-09:40

While the TV Version sticks to one shot, the Extended Version cuts to an alternate take. As a consequence, Ross goes on and on and on. The bold-marked part is exclusively in the Extended Version, the other parts are the same but, as already mentioned, an alternate take has been used.

Ross: "(No, Pheebs, we can't, ok, because) it’s like math. One plus one equals two. I can’t stand by and let you think that one plus one might equal three or four or yellow!"
Phoebe: "(Why not?) What is this all about?"

Extended Version 13.6 sec longer

TV VersionExtended Version

Alternate / Recut
09:43-09:46

Completely alternate shot of Ross.
The TV Version also contains the removed part at the beginning. The angle doesn't change for the subsequent identical question which means the take is different in the Extended Version.

Phoebe: "No, what's that all about? You know what I think?"

TV Version 2 sec longer

TV VersionExtended Version

11:01-11:02

The TV Version fades to black (commercial break) and then fades in to the appartment.
The Extended Version contains a smooth transition to an additional exterior shot instead.

Extended Version 1.1 sec longer

14:31

After "I'm sorry", Janice adds in the Extended Version: "I couldn't wait for you forever."

19:07-19:08

The girls are trying to calm Chandler down but they become entangled in a web of lies.
Rachel: "She's right. I mean, you all do it. Th-this one guy stopped seeing me because because his cat didn't like me."
Phoebe: "Or, this guy dumped me because I fell asleep during Spinal Tap."
Chandler resentful: "You fell asleep during Spinal Tap?"
Rachel (to Monica): "Oh, oh, and Teddy, what's his name, in high school stopped seeing you because he thought you were too fat."
Monica: "He told me it was because he didn’t have time for me because of the play."
Rachel tries to talk herself out of it: "But but that's what I said. Anyway, my point being is..."

In the TV Version, Rachel's "She's right" is already audible during the previous shot of Chandler which means it's a little longer. Furthermore, the following shot of Rachel begins a bit earlier (no screens).

Extended Version 25.6 sec longer

Alternativ
19:45-19:48

Possibly exclusively on Blu-ray: different exterior shot / transition.
