Comparison between the HD version and the original version (both included on the German Blu-ray by Filmjuwelen)
In the comparison of the pilot episode, we have already summarized everything about the problems with the HD remastering of Baywatch, which is different in songs and also censored in nude scenes, at least right at the beginning. With episode 2x13 (Reunion), you can tell right away from the runtimes that there is something wrong with the HD version. The episode runs about 5 minutes shorter and this is the first case in which scenes have been deleted because of the songs that appear there. Hasselhoff himself sings a warble onscreen, which couldn't be covered up with a new song. Note: The episode is placed 12th on the Blu-ray (last episode of the second disc).
The song at the class reunion was exchanged in minute 13. Unfortunately, various conversations can be seen but no longer heard.
14:10 / 14:09-16:01 The scene at the party is a bit longer, all the time continuing with the song in the background and now also with more dialogues. Mitch meets the old schoolmate Trish. She had a crush on him once, but Mitch doesn't even remember her name. At least he compliments her on her present appearance and is told that she used to sit behind him a lot in the past due to the alphabetical seating order. Trish tells about the beautiful curls Mitch already had back then. He now remembers her big dresses, braces and horn-rimmed glasses. They hug each other, and two men come in singing. Mitch immediately joins the choir and leaves Trish behind. 111.8 sec (= 1:52 min)
18:44 / 20:34-22:28 After a dance performance, we see Trish again near Mitch. He is asked to perform a song. First he hesitates, then he sings the song "Do you love me?" to everyone's delight. While the song can be heard further in the off, the two mobbing victims can be seen outside earlier. They toast over the drunkenly fainting Larry. 113.5 sec (= 1:55 min)
18:52 / 22:36-23:23 Larry is put down and the two bullying victims dig a hole. Afterwards, Mitch finishes the song and gets hugged. 47.4 sec
28:39 / 33:08-33:30 After Mitch could be seen dreamily in the living room, we see Gayle coming out of the shower. She hears Mitch singing the song in the bathroom, which was then exchanged during the identical montage of earlier moments of the two of them immediately afterwards. Finally, the picture here turns white to initiate the flashback. 22,3 sec
