69:36 / 74:56-75:16
Tyreen is seen a few frames longer, then Dundee turns to the side. There, a couple goes into the house. 19.6 sec
72:57-72:59 / 78:37-79:21 In the theatrical version, the camera already fades to black when Dundee is shown. The extended cut instead fades over to scenes of nightly celebrations in the village. Sam tries to make a move on a Mexican girl, but gets rejected. You can see some people dancing, Dundee looks over at Teresa and the shot fades over. Extended Cut 42.8 sec longer
79:52 / 86:14-86:24 Aesop comments that his men could easily overwhelm the soldiers marching past - by the way, this also starts before this passage in the off. Hadley asks and Aesop explains that these soldiers have never been to the south and are therefore "soft". 9.5 sec
100:49-100:51 / 107:21-111:33 In the theatrical version, the shot of Dundee fades to black. In the Extended Cut, there is instead a soft fade to Dundee lying feverishly in bed. A Mexican woman is with him and cares for him a little. Shortly afterwards, Dundee has regained his strength, but is already drinking plenty of booze. He goes outside the door and sees a small party where the Mexican is also present. She comes up to him with a basket and Dundee complains that she didn't bring enough tequila. The woman asks if he is already feeling better and to demonstrate this he gives her his hand to dance. However, he collapses quite fast and says, sitting on the floor, that "this army" would neither dance nor march. But there would be one last battlefield and so he pulls her into his arms. This is also a better lead-up to the following scene, where Teresa joins him and the Mexican humbly asks her in Spanish if this is "her husband". Extended Cut 249,8 sec (= 4:10 min) longer
103:08 / 113:50-113:57 Tyreen quotes Omar Khayyám at the end of the shot: "Awake! For morning in the bowl of night has flung the stone that puts the stars to flight." 7.8 sec
107:05 / 117:54-120:05 Tim stays behind longer with the cigarillo given to him by Dundee. Then you see Dundee, Sam, Gomez & Tim in another part of the chase: As they discover another trail, there's some debate about how Sierra Charriba is just outsmarting them. Dundee thinks that they should now just ride to Rio Grande - preferably before Charriba is waiting for them there. After Sam has handed Dundee the knife, he cuts Riago from a tree. There, the Indian was hanged by Charriba's men. Tim comments off screen that Riago really was a "true soldier" in the end. 130,5 sec (= 2:11 min)
After the identical credits, the Extended Cut has several additional credits. Not included in the runtime difference. 68 sec (= 1:08 min)
