Comparison between the cut US-DVD from Artisan (R-Rated) to the uncut French DVD From Prism Vision (Unrated).
There are 27 differences with a duration of 6 minutes and 11.25 seconds. 15 cuts = 4 minutes and 49.75 seconds 6 alternative cuts = 31.75 seconds 6 alternative scenes = no time difference The superbly staged film is based on three short stories and was realized by the directors John Carpenter and Tobe Hooper. Oddly enough, there are two R-Rated versions of Body Bags in the USA, because the releases on VHS and DVD contain different versions. The R-Rated DVD is noticeably more censored than the R-Rated-VHS-version. A completely uncut version was only released in France, Australia and Great Britain.
