Even in the early 80ies one scene was added for the video release. Its the scene where Dingo asks if exactly that scene should be cut out or not.

This gag seems to be cut out on purpose in the Theatrical Cut because the gag only works under these circumstances.

The gag is included in each DVD release.
At the beginning and later on some black screens are cut out.

Sir Galahad, who's looking for the holy grail, meets Dingo at Anthrax. He looks into the camera und comments the quality of that scene and proposes that this scene should have been cut out. After that several other characters are shown. They have to express their opinion, some of them just want Dingo to go on. Even God wants that nonsense stopped.
