Comparison of the cut US cinema version (R-rated) and the uncut Hong kong version (Category 2b) (both released by Sony Pictures)
Kung Hustle is a masterpiece of asian martial arts cinema with a large dose of humor and even beats Stephen Chow’s ingenious box office success Shaolin Soccer.
While the film appeared in the uncut Hong Kong version nearly worldwide, it was shortened by a few scenes for the US theatrical release, alterative footing was used at times and some parts were even digitally overworked. Latter version was released on DVD. Since last year, the uncut version is also available in the US with the subline "Axe Kickin' Edition". The German version is also uncut.

00:00 In the US version, the Sony Pictures logo appears. In the HK version, first the Columbia logo and then the Star Overseas logo crosses the screen.
