Release: Oct 16, 2011 - Author: Buster - Translator: Sebbe - external link: IMDB
The young lawyer Emily Reed (Carré Otis) travels with her new boss Claudia Dennis (Jacqueline Bisset) from New York to Rio de Janeiro to finalize a real estate deal. She gets to know the millionaire James Wheeler (Mickey Rourke) there and they start an erotic adventure.

The sex scene of Otis and Rourke at the end of the film was too explicit for the MPAA to provide a R-rating, it would have got a X-rating, which means that the film couldn't have been screened in normal cinemas. So the director Zalman King reluctantly decided to make it appear a bit more harmless to get the more promising R-rating.

There've been a lot of rumors about the sex scene at that time. It's said that it really came to sexual actions between Otis and Rourke, who got closer during the shooting. They both denied that.

An uncensored version of the film was later released on VHS which contained the complete sex scene. Both versions have been released on a double-sided DVD by MGM.

Mickey Rourke and Carré Otis were both nominated in 1991 for the Golden Raspberry Award in the categories Worst Actor and Worst New Star.
