N.E.R.D or N*E*R*D (short for "No One Ever Really Dies") is an American Hip-Hop /Rock band. It consists of the musicians Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo (who were formerly known as a producer team called "The Neptunes") as well as the singer Shay.
Their second single "Lapdance" was released in 2001. For the music video there exist 2 different versions - one is "family friendly" and the other one is strictly for adults and consists a lot of nudity and suggestive gestures. Additionally, all curses or sexual contents of the song were also beeped/altered for the censored version. Due to the usage of alternative footage both versions are 03.36 minutes long.
