The writer Colum Kennedy returns home to Ireland after several years abroad in order to receive his heirloom. He discovers that not everything in the small town he lives in seems to be normal. A part of the inhabitants obviously has the power to transform into animals. A woman who can transform into a wolfhound is especially interesting for him. He now has to choose between his family and his roots.
