Comparison between the cut British DVD and the German DVD reissue.
British DVD: 82:35 min without end credits (85:48 with credits)
German DVD reissue: 81:52 min w/o credits (83:47 w credits)
4 cuts with a total length of 61,3 sec
(Remaining time difference due to different credits)
The DVD box set containing parts 1-7 of the well-known Lemon Popsicle series features only cut versions of the movies (except part three). These cuts might just be mastering mistakes but are several seconds long.
The seventh part is the last one that is included in the British box (the eight one is being left out). As usual, there are some cuts without too much significance in this version. All in all there still is more than a minute missing.
Running time designations are formatted like this:
British DVD / German DVDi>
The UK-DVD features an additional company logo at the beginning (14 sec) and then opening credits.
The German DVD reissue, on the other hand, shows the logo of the Scotia renting company (26,9 sec) and then the alternative German opening credits (with the same background).
38:43 / 38:55-39:01
Sibylle is lnger on Johnny, then her husband comes along quite a bit earlier.
50:41 / 50:59
Probably a mastering mistake: Johnny is fiddling around with the can opener longer.
56:22 / 56:40-56:57
After the shot of Johnny in the water two shots are missing resp. the second one starts a lot earlier. Alfred sneaks through a door and then stops Herta in the corridoor. He instantly gropes her and she pulls him in her room.
74:31 / 75:06-75:43
More wrangling in the pool between the Rosenbergs and the Schnitzers, in the end everyone is in the water while Benny and Johnny are standing at the edge, Johnny being highly amused. The following shot of Bobby brushing his teeth also starts earlier.
The ending credits are different, the British one being longer.
