Comparison between the R-rated and unrated versions.

In the sequel to "Van Wilder" Taj winds up at Camford University in England. He doesn't make it into a fraternity though and has to live in a run-down building with other "outcasts". So Taj starts his own fraternity and longs for payback...

Like other college comedies of the past few years "Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj" was released as an R-rated and an unrated version on DVD. However there are only little differences. A few alternate scenes, a little more story and two short scenes involving nudity. It seems like the main reason for the "unrated" marketing is again to make more cash. Of course the unrated DVD is the first choice but if one already owns the R-rated version a re-purchase shouldn't come to mind.

In the unrated version Taj keeps spilling sauce over his body. The girl starts to lick it off.

The R-rated version shows a short alternate shot of the girl licking Taj.

In the R-rated version we only see a shot of Alexandra being splattered with dog sperm. Along with this we have some alternate shots of the other guests and Pip.
