Compared are the cut episodes on the US DVD by Lions Gate / FOX and the uncut episodes on the German DVD by Warner Home Video.

One certainly needs to make no words about the hilarious TV show "ALF". Even those who have not seen it have at least heard of it even though it has been quite some time since something new from the ALF universe was released. Anyway, the show consists of 4 seasons and was aired in the late 80s and early 90s. Furthermore, there are two animated series ("ALF: The Animated Series" & ALF Tales) and a motion picture from the mid 90s.
As for the US Versions, a few minutes of each episode were cut for syndication in order to show more commercials. Unfortunately, these syndication versions were also released on DVD. Understandably, the fans were disappointed that the DVDs do not contain the uncut episodes. Whether or not the uncut episodes will be released one day (perhaps on Blu-ray?) is the million dollar question.
Alf and Brian play a board game. Alf is happy that he won again.
Brian: This isn't any fun! You won everything!
Katherine: (I can't believe you'd plan this kind of a trip without asking permission!)
A longer shot of Katherine after she told Lynn that she does not think it is right to drive away with someone you know for only a couple of days.
After Lynn said that she will still drive away with Robert, we can see Willie and Katherine standing around with nothing left to say.
Willie: (Lynn, you know, you could ease this whole situation!)
Lynn: How? By promising nothing will happen that Mom doesn't want to happen? Dad! You don't want me to be a hypocrite!
Willie: Well, I don't want to rule out any options just yet!
After Lynn left the house, Willie and Katherine are standing in the living room. Alf comes in carrying a paint roller and singing. Willie and Katherine turn around to him. Alf stops.
Alf: Whoops! I mean... FIRE!
Then he continues to sing and walks backwards to the kitchen. Willie and Katherine watch him do so and then hug.
Alf: (Lynn's probably so relaxed she'll have to be wheeled in!)
Willie: May I suggest you shut up? And go clean your stuff out of Lynn's room?
Katherine: You know, I still can't believe she agreed to let you use it!
Alf: Hey, I've got it right here in writing!
Alf shows him the paper.
Willie: That's your handwriting!
Alf: It was dictated but not read!
Lynn talks about her trip with Robert: The Sunsets were gorgeous! The snow was a pale blue and there were all these fire torches from the ski patrol as they carried the injured down off the bunny slope!
Willie: Well, I'm glad you had a good time!
Lynn: (And we thought about the future, what it would be like to live together!)
Alf: Whoa! Back up! Back up! Back up!
A longer shot of Robert walking to his apartment's door after somebody knocked.
A slightly longer shot of Robert when he talks to Lynn.
Robert closes the door behind him after Lynn left.
