This is a comparison between the TV Version and the Extended Version.

5 differences, 2 of them with alternate footage
Difference: 7.6 sec

The Blu-ray release only contains the TV versions of the episodes, as was the case with the first season. Those who know the DVD releases from the USA or Great Britain will surely miss the extended versions which can be found on these DVDs.

The Extended Version of episode 2x09 (The One with Phoebe's Dad) is only a few seconds longer. Chandler makes an additional rude comment about Phoebe. It's unlikely that it was cut out due to censorship. Additionally, there is a short and rather uninteresting extension during the scene of the end credits.
02:13-02:15

In the TV Version you see a black screen followed by an additional shot of the street.

+ 2 sec

Alternate Scene
09:04-09:05

After Joey said that Monica has a weaker learning ability than doves the two versions are slighly different:
- In the TV Version you at first see Monica's pissed off facial expression, followed by Joey and Chandler who stop laughing.
- The Extended Version first show Joey and Chandler laughing a little longer, followed by a shot of Monica grimacing.

No difference in time.

Re-Cut
11:49-11:51

While the TV Version fades to black for the commercial break, the Extended Version shows an additional exterior shot which was already shown at the beginning of the TV Version.

Extended Version 0.3 sec longer.

12:08

Chandler soothes Joey a little more extensive. The part in brackets can also be heard in the TV Version.
"(They'll meet, they'll chat, they'll swap life stories,) even if Phoebe tells the one where she’s an Egyptian slave girl, (we'll still have plenty of time.)"

2.4 sec

Alternate Scene
21:28-21:32

The endcredits scene begins a little earlier in the Extended Version.
Monica thanks Ross for his present: "Ah, thanks!"
Chandler: "Ok, that just leaves the gifts from Joey and Chandler."

The TV Version then continues with Joey giving Rachel his present. However, this sequence is shown from an alternate angle.

Extended Version 6.9 sec longer.
