This is a comparison between the TV Version and the Extended Version.
5 differences, 2 of them with alternate footage
Difference: 12.3 sec
The Blu-ray release only contains the TV versions of the episodes, as was the case with the first season. Those who know the DVD releases from the USA or Great Britain will surely miss the extended versions which can be found on these DVDs.
Episode 2x22 (The One with the Two Parties) was only extended for a few seconds. There are just a few more sentences here and there, nothing of greater importance.
After the opening credits, the TV Version shortly shows a black screen.
+ 1.7 sec
First, Joey has an additional excuse for not calling Stacy Roth back after he had a one night stand with her:"She also steals." Then he in the Extended Version hesitates and adds: "So does her roommate!"
Then you see Ross and Chandler grinning, while you in the TV Version see Monica and Phoebe reacting to his comment.
Extended Version 6.3 sec longer
A fade to black, indicating the commercial break in the TV Version. The Extended Version instead uses an additional exterior shot as a transition.
Extended Version 2.4 sec longer
After Monica's comment, Chandler says an additional sentence in the Extended Version: "Joey, if these people found out they were playing spelling games over there, there will be nothing left at our party..." Then they both crack up.
When Rachel gets angry in slow motion, the Extended Version shows it in a closer shot.
