Compared are the US release of "Family Guy - A Hero sits next Door" (1x05) and the German release of "Family Guy - Der Held von nebenan" (1x05).

On the US release, Episode 1x05 (A Hero sits next Door) lacks a short scene. A cop wants to shoot at Peter. Unfortunately, he hits John F. Kennedy's head on a PEZ dispenser.

That's why that sarcastic reference has been removed for the US release but it's still on the German DVD.
