Death Race 3 Gets an Unrated Release in the US Back when part 2 was released, it was a done deal that there was going to be Death Race 3: Inferno. In the meantime, the production has been wrapped and the studio now wants to earn its money back. Once more, Luke Goss embodies the masked hero Frankenstein who has to maneuvre his way through race tracks with deadly weapons and has to fight off heavily armed opponents. The spectacle will be released in the US on January 22nd, 2013 and just like it was done with part 1 and 2, the 3rd film will be advertised as an unrated version in order to attract more customers. Even though the R-rated version of the second film was far from spectacular, this doesn't have to mean anything for the new entry of the franchise.
