Castle Freak Soon on Blu-ray in the UK

Horror film as Unrated Version in HighDef

Castle Freak has quite a history with censorship. It was cut in Germany, the US and the UK. While the old British VHS was censored for a BBFC 18 (see comparison), a new attempt was made several years later and this time the BBFC gave its classification without any cuts. In the US, the R-Rated version was censored (see comparison) but the Unrated edition is uncut.

This unrated version will soon be available on Blu-ray for the first time. It will be released in the UK on January 14th, 2013 and contains a remastered picture quality and will have the correct format, which is also a first.
