The Cold Light of Day - Uncensored on DVD/BD in UK

Cut for British cinemas, uncut in home theaters

The thriller The Cold Light of Day starring Henry Cavill (Immortals) and Bruce Willis was cut to a 12A rating for its theatrical run (we reported). While the BBFC 15 rating that the uncut version would have gotten was not lucrative enough for the theatrical round, distributor Entertainment One seems to think otherwise when it comes to the home video releases. There, the film will be available uncut on DVD and Blu-ray starting September 24th, 2012.

This is noteworthy because this isn't always the case. Some films that were censored for cinemas did not get the uncut treatment afterwards, the most recent cases of those being The Inbetweeners Movie and Immortals.
