Game of Thrones only censored in the future

The last episode of season 1 will be cut

In episode 10 of season 1 of the successful series Game of Thrones, a lot of severed and impaled heads can be seen. In case that some readers have not yet seen the series, the only relevant owner of one of the heads will not be disclosed here while the other heads are just extras and thus not important. At least, you'd think that. Because one of them is a prosthesis that was based on former US president George W. Bush. Until now, no one really noticed that but the audio commentary of the Blu-ray reveals this little story and now, several months later, causes far-reaching consequences.

The producers explain how it came to the usage of the head. In fact, it sounds pretty innocent:

David Benioff and D.B. Weiss: We use a lot of prosthetic body parts on the show: heads, arms, etc. We can’t afford to have these all made from scratch, especially in scenes where we need a lot of them, so we rent them in bulk. After the scene was already shot, someone pointed out that one of the heads looked like George W. Bush.

But it's not going to be resolved so easily. Even though it's unknown whether Bush really is offended by this or knows about it, HBO decided to remove the 10th episode from the streaming platforms and to stop the delivery of the DVDs and Blu-rays. The scene will be cut in every one of these versions and not just in the US but worldwide. The current versions are still uncensored so you should be quick.
