The Avengers - America gets another scene

Second after credits-scene for American viewers

Since one week, the highly anticipated comic film The Avengers is very successful in many territories. Just like in the other Marvel films, the tradition to include a small scene after the credits in order to tease future events is continued here as well.

On May 4th, 2012, The Avengers will finally start in the US and will surely fill the cinemas with masses of excited viewers. They will be even more excited if what reports ComicBookMovie turns out to be true. According to them, the US will get a second scene after the credits which will feature the following:

The entire team sitting down after the final battle and eating shawarma. It lasts for roughly a minute and features no dialogue, although Mark Ruffalo reportedly struggles to keep a straight face throughout.

At the moment, it's unknown whether other countries where the film has yet to start will get that scene as well.
