Compared was the cut UK VHS by Thorn Emi (Pre Cert) with the cut FSK 16 VHS by Cannon Screen Entertainment.

There are missing 8 seconds within 1 scene.

The British theatrical version was cut by one scene, in which Anthony (Burt Young - Rocky 1-5) gets shot by his possessed son Sonny. The following VHS releases by Thorn Emi, Warner and Castle contained the same cut. The DVD by Sanctuary Visual Ent. is completely uncut.

Short remark: Further plot scenes were removed for the German VHS which was used for the comparison. But these missing scenes are contained in the UK version.

Anthony takes a sip from his glass of whiskey. Sonny suddenly appears behind him with a gun. A shot of Patricia reaching for the phone follows. Suddenly a loud gunshot sounds and Patricia drops the phone. Then Anthony is shown again, with a bullet hole in his belly. He falls back against the door and leaves a blood trail on it.
