Pulp Fiction
Comparison between the German DVD released by BMG (uncut, FSK 16) and the new british Collector's Edition DVD released by Buena Vista/Miramax.
The UK-DVD was rated BBFC 18 because of the drug consumption scene.
The time designations relate to the UK-DVD.
The UK-DVD does not contain a cut in the proper meaning of the word, the runtime of both DVDs is identical. The censored scene was reframed so that you can not see how the needle is stabbed into the arm. In comparison to the older UK-versions of the movie the scene was at least not cut out completely.
Length: approx. 3 Sec.
Vincent Vega shoots up (0:29:33)
The close-up of Vincent Vega shooting up heroin was "reframed" in the UK-version, meaning that the image section was redefined so you won't see the the needle being stabbed in the arm (which is one of the BBFC's conditions). On the German DVD the scene is completely uncensored.
The shift of the image section is about 3 seconds long.

There's Something About Mary
Theatrical Version - Special Edition
The theatrical version of "There´s something about Mary" was shortened prior to its theatrical run in the USA, due to allusions of drug use and some critical scenes with animals. This censored version was shown worldwide in cinemas and was released in the first instance on DVD.
However, some years later the 10 minutes longer and uncut version was published on DVD in numerous countries.

Hannibal Rising
Theatrical Cut - Unrated Cut
The trip to the youth of cannibal Hannibal Lector got, like many movies nowadays, an Unrated version. In this version a special focus was set to Hannibal's antagonists, also some alternative camera-angles and a new violence-scene have been added. Those, who already liked Hannibal Rising at the movie theaters, should be quite interested in the Unrated version. For those, and everybody else, we have investigated.
