Compared are the cut UK-VHS by Cinema Club (BBFC 18) and the uncut German DVD by Dragon.

The UK-Version lacks 2 scenes with a total length of 11 seconds.

"From Beyond", directed by Stuart Gordon (Re-Animator / Fortress), is a perfect example for a decent and entertaining scary movie. Actors like Jeffrey Combs and Ken Foree are an excellent choice, they're doing a really good job. The splatter effects are really amazing. It's obvious that the SFX creators intended to do their job as good as possible which is a rare attitude these days. To sum it up, this horror movie is highly recommendable if you're a genre fans.

For its UK release, the movie has been slightly cut. This concerns any release in UK. The German DVD is uncut and so is the US-DVD, except that the US release is coded for Region 1 only while the German DVD ist a Region 2 release.
