This is a comparison between the censored US DVD released by Pioneer (Rated PG-13) and the uncensored version (German DVD released by Polyband).
Pioneer was the first label to get the distribution rights for Dragonball Z and the three Dragon Ball Z movies. They released the series and the movies on DVD and VHS. Unfortunately, the label changed and censored a lot of things about the series. Just as a lot of American versions of Animes, there is new background music. The original music was completely taken out and replaced by new songs. Additionally, they cut together a new intro that has a different soundtrack as well.
Movie 2 - The World's Strongest:
Regarding the censorship, this movie was treated a little better. Only one scene was taken out due to a sexual innuendo.
There are two missing scenes with a runtime of 33.5 seconds.
The Toei-Logo was taken out.
Oolong introduces himself and says that he will ask the holy dragon for a pair of female underpants.
