Comparison between the shortened US DVD released by Anchor Bay (not rated) and the US DVD released by Blue Underground (not rated).
This very good erotic vampire movie can be compared to the Jean Rollin vampire movies, even though it does not contain too many dialogues.
When the Anchor Bay DVD was released, the fans were joyful - the DVD was advertised as being uncut & uncensored for the first time. 3 years later, Blue Underground re-released the movie - and made clear that the Anchor Bay version was (marginally) cut. The Blue Underground version's image is slightly darker but at least has the correct film size - the Anchor Bay version is missing out on some frames on the left and on the right side. This and the extensive amount of bonus material are a definite advantage over the Anchor Bay release.
Anchor Bay US DVD = 87:03 min.
Blue Underground US DVD = 87:31 min.
Total lenght of cuts = 28,5 sec.
When the two woman attack John in the car, some bloody sequences were cut out.
The last few seconds of a sequence were cut out along with other scenes of the women feasting on John's blood - he's getting more and more dull.
Miriam forcefully pulls Harriet's head back (who screams with pain) and keeps on holding her tight.
A missing shot of Harriet and Miriam. The former screams her mind to the heavens.
Harriet screams a little longer.
