In the story "Donald Duck's Atom Bomb" (1947), Donald Duck invents a bomb with an unknown impact that gets stolen by a spook. When it accidentally detonates, all habitants from Duckburg lose their hair. On the last screen, Donald opens a kiosk and offers hair restorer.
The end of the story has been changed in the Barks Library series. Instead of selling hair restorer, he provides it for free to make it up. As a result of that, the text of the last drawing has been changed, the cash register got replaced by a pile of hair restorer, the bills of the waiting customers have been removed or replaced by a comb or a hat. (Note: In the German Edition, the original text was translated).
Moreover, some details were altered in the restauration process, e.g. the cop's club got replaced by cuffs.
The original drawings from the US First Edition are on the right.
The cash register has been replaced by a pile of hair restorer, the bills have been removed or replaced by a comb or a hat.
The cop has been shrinked and the club replaced by cuffs.
