There is no need to make many words about the hilarious TV show "ALF". You doesn't know it has at least heard of it even though it has been quite some time since something new from the ALF universe was released. Anyway, the show consists of 4 seasons and aired in the late 80s and early 90s. Furthermore, there are two animated series ("ALF: The Animated Series" & ALF Tales) and a motion picture from the mid 90s.
As to the US Versions, a few minutes of each episode were cut for syndication in order to show more commercials. Unfortunately, these syndication versions were also released on DVD. Understandably, the fans were disappointed that the DVDs do not contain the uncut episodes. Whether or not the uncut episodes will be released one day (perhaps on Blu-ray?) is the million dollar question.

Lynn: (I need my own phone line! Kathy McDermott has her own phone line, and her family doesen't even have an alien!)
Willie: (Would they like one?)
Being frustrated, Lynn turns away from Willie. Katherine appears.
Katherine: Willie, she's right! We have to talk to Alf about the phone!
Willie: Right! Willie calls for Alf but he is talking on the phone.
Alf: Yeah, but what do you do when your sister glows in the dark? Oh, sorry! I didn't know that!
Katherine: Brian, sit on the couch and finish your homework! I'm gonna order some Chinese food!
Willie to Alf: Listen, we've gotta talk about this phone thing!
Alf stays on the phone: Sorry, Dryden, no offense, but we're getting nowhere here! Yeah, I may have to go over your head! Who's your boss? The President of what? All 50 of them?
Willie: Alf, would you please...
Alf: Well, where is he? Well, don't they have a phone on the president's plane? Yeah! Yeah, right! Well, why don't you just give me that number? Yeah, go ahead! What? What do you mean? Well, fine, be that way! I'll look it up! Alf hangs up.
Willie: All right, listen to me, and listen carfully! The use of the phone is a privileg around here not an inalienable right, and I mean just that! If you don't start showing some consideration for us that privilege will be revoked! Is that clear?
Alf: I can't concentrate here with all this noise! Listen, Brian, when you dad's throug yelling at you come on out with me to the garage, all right?
Alf gets up and goes to the garage.
Willie: Alf, I'm talking to you!
Alf: Not now, Willie, not now! I'm on a mission! Call me when dinner's ready!
Brian: Dad, why are you so mad at Alf?
Willie: When you grow up and have an alien of your own, you'll understand!

DeFoe: Not funny, Hogarth!
Hogarth: Apparently not, Sir! Do you wanna talk to Alf?
Katherine: Willie, I don't think they hang people anymore!
Willie: But they think I'm a threat to national security, a terrorist! Kate... I'm not a terrorist!
Katherine: Honey, I know that!
Willie: They fingerprinted me!
Katherine: It washes right off!
Willie: I'm not going to prison! I saw "Midnight Express", do you remember? They made him eat bugs!
Katherine: That was "Papillon"! In "Midnight Express", they broke his feet!
Willie: I stand corrected!
Katherine: How about "Stir Crazy"? That wasn't so bad!
Willie: That was a comedy!
